Motion Capture x Spatial Audio
This demo showcases the possibilities of the virtual production studio and spatial audio setup at NYU Tandon @ The Yard. By attaching sound emitters in Unreal Engine 5 to rigid body objects tracked in OptiTrack Motive, we were able to move the individual stems of a song around the room by panning between a quadraphonic speaker array.
We showcased this project at the Lunch and Learn event held for the graduate and undergraduate students in NYU’s Integrated Design & Media to inspire their upcoming projects and thesis.
