I am currently developing a workflow that enables performers in motion capture suits to control lights, floor projection, and spatial audio through their movements, transforming the entire performing environment into an extension of their body.
This system is made possible by a Python script I developed that translates OptiTrack Motive’s NatNet streaming data into Open Sound Control (OSC), which I am using to control floor projection and DMX lighting via TouchDesigner.
